My First Computer

Can you believe it, on friday I will be turning 47 years old. How did that happen so fast ?  Don't laugh.....you'll hopefully be saying that some day about yourself.  I just got my first computer the other night ,and i just started back to school after a 25 year break from being a student.  It's really been a scary, exciting and busy few weeks.  I keep telling myself I can do this,I can do this!
I like the people here at school,  everyone has been friendly and helpful. I feel i've made a few friends, I hope so anyway.  All the school work is very different right now for my otherwise normal life. I'm seperated and living on my own for over two years now, I can't say it's been easy.  Now  I feel there is hope in sight!
I hope who ever reads this may feel they have another friend.  Good luck everyone...

  1. Congratulations on the computer and coming back to school! My favorite part about school is making new friends and meeting new people! I'm sure it's a huge adjustment to come back but you'll get the hang of it after these first few weeks! College is a new experience for me too! I just graduated high school though so I'm still stuck in "school mode" haven't reached "real world/life" mode! Since you came back to school don't give up, don't quit until you reach your goals! Good luck with everything!

  2. Wow dude I cant believe your 47 years old and coming to school. I dont mean to make you feel old but thats actually pretty cool. I dispise school completely and I dont think I would have the self discipline to come back to school after beeing away for so long. I seriously think rather slave over a crappy job day to day. Anyways, congratulations I hope you experience some nice adventures here at college and things get going for you. Your never to old to live. I dont know if you are a christian guy but I am. Every sunday my pastor assures everyone no matter what your age he isnt finished with you until he calls you up. He always has plans for you so keep holding onto that hope man.

  3. I just got my first computer too! I always had one at my parents house, but it wasn't mine. I moved out of my parents house two years ago, my boyfriend had his computer, but again, it wasn't really mine, and I didn't want be on his computer all the time. Right before school started he came home one day with a brand new laptop and printer for me! I was so excited! Congratulations on coming back to school! Hope everything goes great!
