The Blog
After getting in a few short blogs,I am still having a hard time trying to decide what to write about. I'm kind of old school at my age, and never really did write a lot in a journal or diary. Over this past weekend i did get out for a few beers with some friends and had the opportunity to meet a few new friends, it was a good time. I am still having a problem adjusting to the whole school thing and homework again, but I can not give up. I wont let myself..... In fact, I'm ready to log off and get to my other school work.
Hi there,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to congratulate you on being determined about not giving up on your blogs! I have also felt stuck or unsure about what to write many times myself. Someone once told me that when you have "writer's block" it's not because you are a bad writer, you simply lack inspiration. What inspires you? Try writing about it. Maybe try writing about interesting life experiences you've had or funny stories from your life. Maybe write about something that really bothers you. There are so many interesting & different things anyone could write about. You've just got to start writing. After you get over that hump of starting, then things to write will come out and you will eventually find that things just flow out simply. Until you get to that point, just take a little time every day and write something. It could just be a couple of sentences, it doesn't matter. Just write something. Then as the days go along you will get better and better. Just keep writing!!!
Hang in there Jodi! I'm new at this too and there are times I don't have a clue about what to write about either. It will get easier the more blogging we do. This is the wave of the future so its probably a good idea to know how to exsist. Social networking has never held much interest for me.I guess that makes me anti-social. Just keep blogging away!
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know you are not alone, dinosaurs ruled the earth last time I was doing homework! I really want this to work for me to. I have a 15 year old daughter that I would like to show you can do whatever you set your mind to. But sometimes I feel like a big dumb bunny. You keep hangin in there and I will to.
